Sat 13 Oct - Broken Hill NSW

Today was not a good one for Hans.

Hans woke up ill with a tummy whose actions shall not be described here, that Di had to live with it.

Nevertheless, after breakfast (for Di) and no breakfast (for Hans), we decided to wander up to Broken Hill CBD and take a look.

Very very wide streets, few pedestrians out, and few cars, including very few cars parked on the street.

There are many old heritage buildings and art galleries we will need to go back another day to check them out.

Interesting statistics, there are more art galleries than pubs in Broken Hill today. Well, it didn't stop some yobbos and rascal kids to be out and about at 11am.

Nice mural outside Broken Hill railway station.

The ever present lode in the background.
We will check out this restaurant later, great position on top of the lode.
The original founders of what is nowBHP Billiton.
A quiet afternoon back at the camping ground for Hans to rest and recover - ready for tomorrow.
